Stage adapation of the movie by the same name. The actors on stage manage to hold their own against the overwhelming shadow of the famous and excellent movie. In some ways, the pivotal juror #8 - is allowed more anguish and sincere doubt and confusion than the slick Henry Fonda in the movie version who seems to roll up the field from behind in way he could very well all have planned ahead - with the manipulative mastery of a John Le Carre spy.
