J'ai Deux Amours.. A journey with Josephine Baker
Producers Club 358 W 44th st.
At the occasion of Black History Month and her 100th birthday, a tribute
to Josephine - probably the first black superstar, despite all the odds. Her
career, success and struggle to help create a world more color-blind than the
one she was born into. Having been an inspiration for artists (mostly male
ones...) in her lifetime she still seems to be highly revered as a role model
today by African American artists and entertainers.
