What does one do in Manhattan during a snow-storm while the surrounding
regions declare state of emergency? For example make sure than some concert
tickets from some unfortunate friends from the suburbs who can't make it today
don't go to waste and to make sure that the artists who appear in full force
don't have to play in front of an empty house. Even though there were still a
lot of empty seats, despite the performance reportedly having been nearly sold
out.
The orchestra and associated choir of NYCs most famed music
school performed the symphony No. and the German Requiem by Brahms in stoic
ignorance of the chaos that civilization as we know it is about to plunge due to
the inclement weather...
