Operating
There is a thrill of communicating with
someone thousands of miles away with just a wire and a
strange looking box of parts! My operating has been
confined lately to contesting and chasing those rare
DXpeditions. Though I still occasionally operate phone, I
have been trying to improve my CW skills by concentrating
on that mode when on the air. I QSL to LoTW and eQSL by
uploading logs after each round of operation. I have also
been sending out cards while I complete my WAS CW. This
section of the web site illustrates the fun I have on the
