Multi-Library Search Tool - Expanded Version

The following form allows you to search multiple libraries. Just enter the criteria and search type (Title, Author or Subject) in the form, then select the library catalogue you want to search.

This is an expanded version of a tab-based Multi-Library Search Tool, adding several more libraries in South Australia.

Of course, the form is only useful if you live in Adelaide, South Australia. But if you're handy with JavaScript you should be able to modify the code to search other libraries.

Library-specific Notes:

City of Holdfast library requires a three-step process to make the first query:
1. Go to the home page.
2. Go to the search page. Close any windows that may pop up.
3. Submit search query using the form below.
City of Marion library presents the filled-in form. You will need to re-submit that form to view the results.
City of Mitcham library requires a three-step process to make the first query:
1. Go to the home page.
2. Go to the search page. Close any windows that may pop up.
3. Submit search query using the form below.
City of Onkaparinga - requires a two-step process to make a query
1. Go to the home/search page. If a new window opens, close it once it has fully loaded.
2. Submit search query using the form below.
Libraries Australia provides keyword-based search on all criteria at once.
The University of Adelaide Library Catalogue requires a session cookie to be created. Go to the Search page to create a session.

Also note that most library catalogues have sessions that timeout after 5 or 10 minutes of inactivity. You may need to re-create sessions as described above.
