Pennsylvania was my original inspiration for the watertower project, but was a great disappointment on the ride. We spent much of our time in deep woods, with little chance to spot towers from a distance. The ones pictured here were all of the towers I spotted in our time in Pennsylvania. Some of them were shot from quite a distance as is evident from the low quality of the pictures.

This is the same tower from two different angles. It was out in the country and appeared to be the water supply for a very large stop on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

This was not a pretty tower, but looks like it holds a lot of water.

I found this one right in the middle of Gettysburg near the school where we camped. Many of the towers now also sport cell antennas.

This shot was taken from the Gettysburg battlefield. The tower was on the other side of town.
