Day 13 - Saturday, July 10th |

Harlowtown, MT to Billings, MT - 91 miles
| Some
ambitious riders were up early this morning, packed their gear, and headed
off for breakfast in Harlowton. Most of us enjoyed our oatmeal out of
doors at the fairgrounds/park where we had spent the night. There is a
wetlands area right next to our camp. I awoke to the sounds of many different
kinds of birds going about their morning business. |

| We turn again to Microsoft, and bring out yet another Microsoft jersey. This one says, where do you want to do today? on the front. The answer today was Billings. |
Joe is our featured rider for the day. He works as a concierge in a large building in Manhatten. Joe is a strong rider and is always around during the day as we are riding. In the picture above, Joe does 20 pushups at a rest stop. He and several other riders have been doing this all along the route as a way of keeping and building upper body strength during the ride. |

| The town of Ryegate is famous for its Testical (also spelled Testicle on a different sign). We're talking Rocky Mountain Oysters folks, or those things that turn a steer into a bull. Too bad we missed it! | We rode along these beautiful cliffs for much of the morning. At one point we saw hundreds of what looked like swallow nests hanging from an overhang in the cliffs. |

| Gerry enjoys the Mercantile store. Very cool stuff was found here including a Montana pin that I added to my collection. | This picture hardly does the vista over Billings justice. The brick building on the left is the University of Montana, Billings branch. The Rocky Mountain College, where we're staying is out of sight to the right. |

The email I'll use this summer is brucesherman@mac.com. Send mail to this address to say hello and I'll be able to read it on the ride.
