The thruster pumps water out either side of the ship through an narrowing opening. This one is viewed from inside the thruster assembly. You can see the side of the dock in the distance. I'm sitting in the tube while taking this picture, but it's not big enough for me to go all the way out. I hope they don't close up the doors while I'm in there!
