The seachest in the previous page was for the Bow Thruster.The thruster is essentially a large pump, pumping water from the seachest and discharging it from one side of the ship or other. This water jet pushes the ship to the side, helping us while docking the vessel. The silver colored impeller in this picture is the moving element of the thruster as viewed from inside the seachest.
