If you look closely, you can see that we've had a close encounter of the bottom kind at some time in the past. Likely, we rested on the bottom at the dock in Anchorage, where silt fills in the harbor, and the tides go in and out about 35 feet every six hours. The structural integrity of the hull is not affected by a dent like this, so we didn't make an effort to repair it.
