Hodgepodge #52


Went to Vegas with the roommate this weekend. Remember what I said before about how this year, Eddie and I were either going to take over the world, or completely ruin each others' lives. Well, we sure weren't taking over the world this weekend.

Mike G. got a PSP this week. It's friggin awesome. I don't think I'll get one. Not for awhile, at least.

Just bought "The Incredibles" yesterday. And I watched it again, even though I should have been sleeping. Ray's girlfriend has a friend, Dorothy, with whom I am slightly infatuated with because of her resemblance to the character of "Violet".

We're working on the new Propergander show. There's so much to do, but it will be fun. I really like what we have going here. Makes me wonder what the hell I'd be doing otherwise.

I've spent a lot of my free time in the past three weeks kickboxing. It makes me very tired and mellow in the evenings, and it's nice to be lean again. However. I find myself wanting to get into fights, just to see what would happen if I really unloaded on a person. The last time I really unloaded on a person was in high school, and I was small, and I didn't know what I was doing so not much came of it.

I'm not angry, mind you. I'm just curious to see what kind of damage I could inflict on another human.

I'm also curious about how much damage I could take. We all know about my midsection. I wonder how my chin is. Maybe I should start a Fight Club or something.

My motorcycle has been in out of commission for almost 2 months now. I gotta do something about that. Plus, the gas costs alone from driving my minivan are destroying me.

Randy just turned 31 last week. That means I'm going to turn 31 soon. There has been, I'd say, a 12 year stretch where I haven't felt like I'm acting my own age. I did for sure before that. I'm wondering when's the next time I'll get that feeling - that I'm acting my own age. Fuck it. My 30's have been fun so far. I should go screw some 19-year-olds or something.
