The lastest ado-mode has been brought out (8Jan2012). It can send code directly to Stata on Macs and MS Windows machines. It can open files on your ado-path. It is also Stata 12.0 ready.
Here is an unsolicited plug for KEOS, a good community radio station in College Station.
Tom Wynn has two excellent blog on vinyl (LPs or records or whatever came before CDs):Etched in black and Strange to Your Ears. He had a good site for obscure music and interesting music history from the halls of popular music. It's archives are worth looking through.

I stumbled on this series of photos of the ghost towns left behind after Chernobyl blew its lid. It's from a ukrainian motorcyclist touring the dead zone in Byelorus. Both sad and interesting.
