We have tried to put together an index of bridge terms to help the bridge player talk the talk. There are so many phrases used regarding the playing, so many terms to describe the bidding, so many adjectives used in discussing the post mortems, that we have decided to clarify the meanings of certain phrases. In addition, we have added several explanations of bridge events, bridge trophies, bridge organizations. We have attempted to cover as many elements of the game of bridge as possible, and we have included also short explanations of conventions, treatments, and methods, which have modern day application, and those which do not. If we have missed something, please let us know. You are our best source.
