He can play bridge. When Bill Gates, CEO of Microsoft, appeared on the Charley Rose talk show on PBS, he told why Warren Buffett, the investment giant, got interested in the Internet.

'Now Warren can play with players from all over the world.'
AIDS Memorial Quilt on Display The panel of the AIDS Memorial quilt honoring the members of San Francisco Unit 506 who have died of AIDS is now on display in the Yerba Buena Ballroom, Salon 8.
The panel was originally constructed in 1989 by members of the San Francisco Unit to honor the memory of their fellow duplicate players who had died of AIDS. The quilt panel has been updated twice since then, most recently in August for display at this tournament.
In October the panel was one of the many thousands spread on the Mall in Washington DC. Among those who viewed the stunning vista of these quilts and offered solace were President Clinton and Vice President Gore.
Duplicate bridge attracts diverse players - one of its fascinating aspects. With this quilt, we have recognized the untimely deaths of a sizable portion of the San Francisco bridge community. Stop by the Yerba Buena Ballroom to see this unique tribute. See: Bulletin 7
