I can't pretend anymore
That I know what I'm doing, not confused
I can't lie to myself that I always bid with half a clue
Your suit's too strong
You show me I'm too weak to make my bid
I thought I could get what I need
Now I can't get enough

I tried to play it on my own
I always thought that I could keep control
You had everything that I needed
And now I just can't find the right play. Help me!

You play your hand and I surrender
'Cause your trump are too strong and I can't go on
Without some better cards to help me
You play your hand and I surrender
I don't want to play more 'cause my threes and my four
Are fodder for your aces
I surrender
