KARMA IS A BITCH...
A follow up to my whole "eating your girlfriend's
pie" incident...
I was in S.F. the next
day doing some work for CNET. After that I had to drop off my demo reel at an
agency, because I'm trying to see if I can potentially get represented by
someone.
Well SF is a busy as place,
but I found a parking spot just around the corner where I had to drop off my
package. So I park it, there are three other cars behind me parked, and they are
all in "Tow-Away" spots. I get out of my car, drop of the package, literally
only 7 minutes passed.
I come back out
and my car is gone, the damn thing is gone. There's a parking meter cop nearby
and I said, did my car get towed? He said, "Oh that was yours, its long
gone."
I was away for 7
minutes!
I took a taxi to the tow-away
lot, and I even beat my car back to the lot. Final charge. $238.50. F'ed
up!
Thats what I get for eating
someone's pie the day before.
