YI JIANLIAN is GONNA BE SIC


The new NBA Import

After watching a few NBA League Pass games, I gotta say Yi Jianlian is gonna be a hella good player and if the Bucks stick together with their core they are gonna be top 4 eastern team in two years. They have the pieces.

I'm always curious to see how these Asian imports play. Yao, is Yao. But then there was awesome bull crap like Wang Zhi Zhi and Menk Bateer.



Yi has a butter stroke, he's fast and athletic and all over the place (averages just under 2 blocks a game). When they compared him to "Dirk" in the draft, you CAN see similarities, but Yi has MUCH better athleticism and speed and a tenacious motor.

He won't be a "solid NBA player", He'll be better. Like a top 25 player in three years. So remember this blog and let's see how far off I am.

He had some pretty crappy first few games, but after that he's been pretty solid 19 and 9 against Houston with McGrady on him most of the time. And his development will be huge for the NBA to keep on raking in the $$$. In his first game against the Rockets and Yao, 200 million people in China watched the game. Holy Crap.

But thank goodness for NBA League pass, the Bucks are worth checking out
