Unfortunately the Autumn was particularly wet and there was severe flooding. Until we can get back into Black Keld we don't know how this will have affected the lines. At the very least we expect them to be buried by sand.

Passage after Sump 2

If access remains open and the rain holds off, the next dives will push the end of sump 6. Some have predicted that the sumps will go deep and long with the dip of the limestone, but the dip varies and faults upset the strata. Others think they will surface at any time - caves are where you find them! The answers will have to wait the next phase of exploration!
