(NGR SD 984706) However this point lies at an altitude of 350 metres, while Black Keld is at 198 metres and has barely climbed at all from the valley floor. Still a long way to go to Langcliffe Pot, (NGR SD 995710) whose deepest point is at an altitude of 376 metres. The explored passages in Langcliffe Pot and Mossdale Caverns (NGR SE 016697) are both presently heading away from Black Keld.
