The 'dry' passages aren't easy to negotiate, whilst carrying diving kit!

In the part of the cave discovered in 1997, the underwater wriggle through the bedding plane beyond Lake 2 is intimidating, but there is also an above water crawl just after the end of sump 2.

|
The crawl is strenuous with diving kit and also damaging to equipment. On three occasions in 2000, regulators have been so damaged as to become faulty and the divers have had to retreat using one functional valve. | |
