Wearing a wet suit vest, under a semi dry suit jacket, on top of semi dry suit long johns, does not make for great mobility. It's made worse because the suit neoprene is rather old and stiff - not unlike it's owner. It's an attempt to keep warm, but by the time the rest of the cave diving equipment is added it's fairly difficult to move at all, especially out of water.
