This was my first time seeing him... ...in person. I heard him say things I've... ...heard him say before. And the thing that struck me most was... ...I could tell he meant it. I know that's what everyone says... ...about Howard Dean. But it's true. And that's what's unusual about him. Howard Dean made Sheen laugh again. I forget what it was. Dean spoke for not very long. The crowd ate it up. L.A. loves Howard Dean. Hope he comes back again soon. People began leaving. So did I, until... Wait...is he...? Yep. Dean couldn't help himself. He headed into the crowd... ...to sign autographs. His staffers tugged at his sleeves... But he wanted to talk to people. Howard Dean.
