CNN Protest (p. 4)

An unlawful assembly is declared, and the police move in.

LAPD gives crowd 10 minutes to disperse.
"An unlawful assembly has been declared. Keep those cameras rolling."
LAPD: "We have been asking you to disperse for 25 minutes."
The horses move in, stepping on the protesters who sit on the street.
"The whole world is watching!"
"The whole world is watching!"
On the south side of the street...
...a horse suddenly darts at a protester.
Not liking the protester's reaction.
The police move in and grab him.
First arrest I witnessed.
Monitors take notes on everything.
God knows what the police would do without all the cameras present.
Thank you, George Holliday.
I decide not to get arrested today. Haven't yet worked up the nerve.
Maybe tomorrow. There were 40 arrests related to civil disobedience today.
The cops herd the crowd into the subway.
More cops head down for crowd control. "Clear the stairs! Clear the stairs!"
Eerily quiet downstairs.
Some people buy tickets until we find out we don't have to.
And we wait for the trains.
