M11A1/2 Early Mech
The M11 was the first operational US combat walker and is designed to transform from a “transport mode” where the vehicle “crouches” on its legs and uses wheels for rapid mobility, to a “walking mode” where the vehicle stands on two legs for movement through rough terrain and for tactical advantage. First produced in 1939, some 7980 M11 combat walkers were produced by the time it was discontinued in late 1943.

The 1/56th scale US “General Early” combat walker kit comes with a set of Driving Legs and Walking Legs, allowing you to model the transportation mode you want – either walking mode or driving mode. It also comes with the parts needed to build the kit as one of two major variants, the M11A1C Command Walker (open-topped) and the M11A2/A3 (turreted HMG or 37mm gun M6). Additional kit items include a pair of robotic manipulator arms, a side-mounted a side-mounted rocket launcher set and decals.
