The user then chooses Rights Card 21. She learns that her child has the right to specially designed instruction. She referrs to her Reference Guide under the discussion for young children and learns that her child, should he qualify and receive pre-school placement, has the right to specially designed instruction within the special education pre-school program. She follows the instruction from the reference guide and writes the contents of this card upon the fill-in form. Our user then moves on to the next step of drafting her letter to the school district. The IEP Reference Guide has specific instructions for taking the contents of her fill-in form and moving it into a letter, as well as instructions for proving receipt of delivery to the school. |
