MY FAVORITE GIFTS
It may be a cliche, but I really do prefer one-of-a-kind gifts that
remind me of the person who gave it to me. Artsy-crafty items, poems, stories,
mix
CDs,
homemade cards, paintings -- these are the kinds of things
that I love to get from the people I love!
CLOTHING
While I do like getting clothes as gifts, I am somewhat picky about
what I will wear. Here are a few helpful hints if you want to give it a shot:
- Cotton is my favorite fabric by far!
- Greens, blues, maroons and browns are the colors that work best for me
- No logos, no advertisements! Even if the shirt displays a musical artist, movie, product, or sports team that I enjoy, I will be unlikely to wear it. That's just the way I am.
- No plaid
- No paisley
- No argyle
- I run hot, so heavy sweaters don't work for me
I shop mainly at The Gap and Old Navy, and most of my shoes are Skechers. These sizes generally work for me across the board:
Shirt Size: L
Dress Shirt Size: 16 1/2 Neck; 34-35 Sleeve
Pants Size: 34 x 32
Shoe Size: 8 or 8 1/2
Boxers Size: Medium
MEDIA
Being a crazy collector-type person, I often buy the CDs,
DVDs and books I want as they hit the stores. I also maintain a couple
