Selected issues of the periodical A Rebours are now available to consult online. The perodical included a number of essays either directly about Huysmans or about the fin-de-siècle period. Huysmans and the Fortune Press

The Fortune Press published a number of translations of Huysmans' work in the course of their 50-year history. Unfortunately a number of editions are either not dated or have misleading dates in them, leading to a confusion about dates of publication and which edition is which. This guide lists and shows all the editions of Huysmans' work produced by the Fortune Press, along with additional bibliographical information and sources.

New translation of Against Nature

A new translation of Against Nature by Brendan King has just been published by Dedalus Books. The translation includes an introduction and notes, as well as the first extensive selection in English of variants and deleted passages from the original mansucript of A Rebours, now conserved at the Biliothèque nationale in Paris.

Marie-Charles Dulac

Huysmans' memoir of the painter Charles Marie Dulac was first published in 1899 in an exhbition catalogue containing a portrait of Dulac and six illustrations. The cover of the exhibition catalogue, now extremely rare, is by Huysmans' secretary Jean de Caldain.
