Un-Centered Printing in Photoshop

When you are printing an image in Adobe Photoshop, by default it prints in the middle of the page, no matter what the size of the image. There is a simple way around this which can help you save paper or simply print multiple images on one sheet.

Print with Preview : The first step is to go to the file menu and select Print with Preview [image 1 - right]. Clicking on this (or hitting the apple-P keys) will open the print dialog box [image 2 - right]. This is where we will do all of our work.

Postition & Scaled Print Size : The two areas that we will have to make changes to are the Position and the Scaled Print Size. First, we will uncheck Center Image (image 3 & 4 below). Next, we will

Next, we will check the Show Bounding Box option [image 5 above]. This allows us to move the image that we are printing anywhere on the page by moving it in the preview area [image 6 right]. You can also specify the location of the image to be printed in the position section by typing in an top and left position .

Finally, click on print and your image will be printed in that specific location.
