Apple and Volkswagen have recently teamed up to give new Beetle buyers a FREE iPod! What a great deal! (Why weren't they doing this when I bought? Oh yeah. The iPod was brand new!)

As great as that is, there are some benefits for those of us who can't rush right out and buy a new iPod for $20,000 (and get a free Beetle with it). As part of the advertising campaign, VW has created a site with more information on the deal. This is a flash site (see below) that contains information on the Beetle and the iPod. The GREAT part is that they actually have FREE music that you can download. This is open to anyone who visits the site.

To access the music, visit the site (here), and then click on the MP3 link. A page with all of the artists, and a description of their music, will load. Artists include the Oxes, Radio 4, Read Yellow, The Shins and six others for a total of 10 free MP3's.
