Bad Food, Good Company
A government run tourist sight, the Udaipur City Palace Complex is quite large and has many visitors. In retrospect, it was not as well kept as Jodhpur's fort (which is in private hands), but it was large. By the time we finished at the complex, the three other travelers, Jonathan, Ajay, and Rachana, were tired, moody, and very hungry. You can see it in their eyes in the picture. I did like views it afforded of the Lake and the city. It was also extremely ornate. Outdoing the Mughals must have been a preoccupation as was using mirrors.
