Jaipur was the highlight of our time in Rajasthan. Our hotel, the Samode Haveli, is the little sister of the Samode Palace that sits some distance outside Jaipur. When we pulled up to it, it was much like entering a dream of another time and another place. In this hotel, we spent wonderful evenings inside the haveli. With Ajay’s mother at the Rambaugh Palace, we were fortunate to dine in the dining room with the Rani of Rambaugh (she owns the place). It was a fantastic and magical visit.
