Delhi’s Red Fort was long used exclusively as the domain of the India’s military establishment.  Now open to visitors (but with many sections still off-limits), the wear of the occupation is evident.  There are many charming features of the fort, and it’s high walls, Lahore Gate, and prominent position make it a visible must-see location.
