Shopping in India is always an experience. For Jonathan, this was his first grand purchase. With Ajay's mom haggling for serious discounts, Jonathan did exceptionally well. Two beautiful pieces of inlay work would be shipped via airfreight to him: a chessboard, and an intricately detailed marble table top. The inlay work we saw was gorgeous. I tried to rationalize an $800 inlaid vase, but decided to save my dollars for purchases later in the journey.
