Los Dias de Los Vagos day 1



We had our first session of Los Dias de Los Vagos this afternoon. It went quite well, I think. Savage Worlds flowed well and allowed us to move fairly big fights along quickly. I think I need to have more Wild Cards among the opponents to make it more challenging. We had three fights: the party against 5 men dressed as members of the Inquisition, Cpl Garcia and Rafael and 12 soldiers against a mine overseer and 12 guards, run simultaneously with Padre Garcia, Siobhan, and Dona Maria fighting against Don Miguel and a few guards (or actually Dona Maria fighting as El Vago and the other two searching for Don Miguel's secret accounting books).

The party got Don Miguel (the largest landowner in the parish) arrested for kidnapping peons to work in his gold mine. And then stole the gold from the soldiers to distribute to the poor. All in all, a good day's work.

Corporal Garcia is played by Matt, Rafael is played by Brennan, Padre Garcia is played by Philip, and Siobhan is played by Mila, Dona Maria is played by Heidi.
