Park Slope

Denise and I rented a flat in Brooklyn, near Prospect Park. The neighborhood is called Park Slope, a gentrified and friendly part of town.

Sam and I outside "our friend" Jimmy's apartment.
This is the stoop... our apartment was up four flights!
Comfortable and a great view.
Our train, the F Train, had a wonderful view of the Statue of Liberty.
Easy divorce and easy bail in New York.
Our favorite bakery in the neighborhood... Denise has been craving baked goods.
This place was hip, the coffee was excellent and the muffins were perfect.
Denise had her usual -- latte with half a shot.
I'm sure people thought Denise was an urban or urbane professional.
We know better... she's there for the chocolate chip muffin.
The botanical gardens at the Brooklyn Museum.
The park was beautiful and a block away.
The Brooklyn Library was wonderful -- the staff were friendly and helpful.
"Stoop sales!" Eames era furniture everywhere!
Luckily, the pepperoni fell on his sweater and not his stylish yellow pants!
Denise got an excellent salad at the Cafe Steinhof on 7th.
I got the pastrami. The salad was great, but the sandwich got a bit tough.
