Notes

Moved to Canada in 1908. Joined the Royal Canadian Horse Artillery in Kingston Ontario. In 1912 transferred to the (later Royal) Canadian Ordnance Corps. Served in WW1 and in Permanent Force till 1939 rising to Conductor (Warrant Officer, Class I). As a civil servant was in charge of ammunition stores in Petawawa Military Camp (1939 - 1944). Moved to London, ON, and served in the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires for many years rising to Regimental Sergeant Major of the local Corps.
