Deadline to submit work for the Fall 2011 issue of Marooned
is April 1, 2011.

For all submissions: please include your name, address, and phone number, as well as a brief statement about yourself and any previous publications you have had. Submit 3-5 poems at a time, not to exceed 8 pages total; submit one piece of prose fiction or essay at a time up to 2,500 words. Please wait for us to respond to one submission before sending us another.

For e-mail submissions: Please place your submission directly in the body of your email, along with a brief biographical statement and contact information. Be sure to proofread your submissions carefully.

For artwork: We can use either a .tiff or .jpeg file, with a resolution of at least 300 dpi. For artwork, attach your file to an email message; don't forget to include the title of your artwork in the body of the email. Send all email submissions to: editor@asumarooned.net

Responses to submitted work can be as quick as a couple weeks, or take as long as 6 months, depending on when we receive the submission and whether or not it is being held for final decision. Final decisions are typically made toward the end of the Spring academic semester. Because we are small and student-run, we appreciate you patience.

Marooned does not read submissions over the summer (between May and August). Manuscripts received during these months will not be considered.
