These are the questions that lead us to thinking beyond the immediate flow of events.
I have seven files of questions that I've collected over the years. They need to be refined. When I get the time I'll work on them. If you have a specific interest, see my contact info page.
What are your strategic questions?
See sentence beginning with "An adequate information system..." in second paragraph on page 109 (hardback) under the heading "Where the Results Are" Chapter 7: "The Information Executives Need Today" in The Essential Drucker by Peter Drucker.
You might find it very useful to put together your own list while reviewing some of the key pages in the blue print:
* ideas on financial investing success,
* the changing social and economic picture,
* the content and structure of the economy,
* the idea of a picture of developmental desires,
* career management,
* having a strategic work plan
* life design
Assigning broad historical or forward looking questions to others is a way to help them to shift their vision from their narrow, historical backgrounds.
