Developing a work approach that is adequate to the challenges ahead
Navigating toward tomorrows
My name is Bob Embry. Google me?
Possibly we share a common objective—navigating toward tomorrows. Over 20 years of work have gone into developing what has become a unique, comprehensive free web site that contributes to this objective This is an invitation to assist in enhancing and publicizing this strategic development web site. The site deals with time-life navigation—quick visual site and concept overviews (reading not necessary—just page scrolls at this point). Personal opportunity thinking points. Time-life navigation © has five inter-related elements moving in time: Organization evolution (main change vehicle); work-life (career) evolution (main change initiator); life design (main change beneficiary); financial investing (the golden goose); and a navigation system (action sequencer). While CEO of GE, Jack Welch often said: "Control your destiny or someone else will." This site offers a conscious approach toward that objective. This site repeatedly raises the question: "what do I have to do (informed in each of the five dimensions) to have the kind of life (informed) I want (informed)?" and then provides a blueprint and resource links for working on this question. Although the site is already highly usable, it needs enhancement in a number of areas. Ultimately, for the basic idea to be effective, a large number of people need awareness and repeated inter-action. This requires further enhancement. Initially, maybe a site guided tour is needed to embed the idea in organizations. Further innovations may be needed. Your help in organizing a network of supporters could be enormous. After you've had a chance to briefly explore the site, I would appreciate any comments or suggestions—e-mail contact info Thanks for your time, Bob
