Wedding Story
It was a very nice wedding. A few weird moments
in the church (the priest had everyone hold their hand out to bless them and it
had a definite "heil Hitler" feel to it. I knew Chris had german background, I
just know it was THAT strong. ;)
Lucky for me the event was casual since I had no nice clothes to wear due to my lost luggage.
The band played a variety of "world music" not the easiest for dancing, but nobody dances at weddings anyway.
There were some bean bag tossing games, a rope with tennis balls tied to the end tossing game and some golf which as far as I know doesn't deal with tossing at all.
After the reception we changed (I went into the only other shirt I had, the work shirt I wore on the plane. It wasn't "fresh" but at least I hadn't been wearing it all day.) and went to a bar for drinks and dinner. Some nice discussions about Get A Life took place.
Tomorrow I'm heading to a brunch hosted by the newlyweds and then Chris is being nice enough to drive me to the airport. Kara has to leave early to get the rental back to Chicago by noon.
All in all, it's been a good trip. Lets just hope I get my luggage back.
