Tricky

Felix and I went for a walk, and on the way back we usually turn down the main driveway to the complex. This time I kept going to the sidewalk a few hundred feet further along. Felix seemed confused. He stopped, looked where we normally go, looked at me, looked back, looked at me. As if to say, "You know where we are right? We go up there."

I called him along, and he trotted up to me, but he still seemed to think something was weird. Once we made the corner to the familiar street everything clicked for him.

And that's when those two loose dogs came up to us. Luckily, their owner was there, but I gave him a nasty glare because it's incredibly stupid to think you can control one dog off a leash, let alone two.
