This Might Be The Worst Song EVER
I came across this song called Minor Details by
the Wichita Stallions from last years SXSW download. It tries to be too much,
and it doesn't do any of them well. This is not a review, just my thoughts of
what I heard. Something like this must be shared with the world....to protect
it from ever happening again.
The lyrics seem to be written by a 7th grader that just got dumped by his first girlfriend that he had for a week.
"I may never trust again. Hope that you'll never rest again. And I'm, I'm a gonna end up alone."
"I pray that I'll never be as selfish as you were to meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!"
That "me" goes on for 10 seconds. I counted.
It goes from screaming "AGAINNNNN!" to a quiet bass and piano duet.
And by the end it's gone over the edge to, "You left me broken and mishapen"
"I know I will never ever trust again. And I pray that you'll never rest again. I'm a gonna end up alone."
Now I'm not saying I could do better, but I at least know that my stuff is only good in that kitschy kind of way.
The only problem I'm having is that it's like a car accident on the side of the road. I have to look, so I keep playing it just to revel in the glory of it's badness.
