Another Slam Against Men Airs on NBC's Today Show



In yet another recent example of how the only valid target in today's media is white males (for reference material on the topic read any book by Bernard Goldberg - former news producer) NBC's Today Show recently ran an expose entitled "Slackers Without Shame".

The target of this news article was men, who stayed home, while their wives worked. The folks over at NBC found this idea appalling, calling such men as the title informed us "Slackers Without Shame".

What I find appalling is that NBC chose to run this program without addressing some pretty serious talking points. Here are a few I would like their input on:

1) The family filmed had children. Did the couple decide that, perhaps, in light of the rising cost of - and the continuing news articles on the problems with - child care they simply couldn't afford to have both parents working? Perhaps they decided that one parent would work while the other would be the homemaker? Had this been the case, what would be the opinion of NBC news if the wife had stayed home? Can you see the headlines now? "Bigot Husband Forces Spouse to be Housewife"

2) No, on second thought the first question should be enough to make you ask your own questions. And if not - then same on you, you soundbyte lemming.
