I WIN!



These past couple of weeks have been pretty horrible. I don't know if it's the holiday depression, the annual mung that is floating around the offices of both my wife and myself that have kept us on the edge of eternal sickness, the heart-break over the discovery of a local pet cemetery (gimpydogs.com or gilsstills.com or Rosa Bonheur in the Daily Rant) that has fallen into ruin, or just coming to grips with the fact that we are living on borrowed time with our oldest dog. But, it's been a pretty difficult season.

Today when I got home I had an envelope from a CPA in California. Great - more junk mail. Just what I wanted.

But, not so. When I opened the envelope I was surprised to find a nice donation to the maintenance of this blog sent by Arthur B. who - after reading my tips on cleaning the Fellowes shredder - stated that I had saved him from making a new purchase.

My spirits were lifted. It couldn't have come at a better time.
