Fax Telemarketeers



I've had it! I can't take it anymore! My phone rings day and night - and the phone company won't do anything about it. They say "there is nothing illegal about calling you". God how I hate the incompetent. There is something to be said about trying to keep costs down by hiring the village idiot but please!

So tonight I get yet another fax offering me a cheap health care plan. This one has enough information on it that I can start tracking down the culprits. I then go to the FCC site to file a complaint (my phone number has been on the Do Not Contact list since - well over a year). I am filling out the form and I get down to the bottom where it says (and I quote):

"for Telephone Consumer Protection Act violations such as:...........an unsolicited advertisement sent to your fax machine, ....., you must provide the date and time of incident and for faxes, a copy of the received, faxed document".

Now, I have no problem with that. But where do I include the friggin' document? There is no way to include the document on this web enabled form!

A quick lookup of the 8826 number turns out to be the customer service number for GoldMedCare on Northwest Freeway in Houston Texas.
