Audio The Acton CD [formerly Acton 12" EP], a much remixed soundboard, very professional clean recording is the one to get. Some say it lacks any audience though. The full audience version does not though. Very good and preferable in many ways to the soundboard. You can clearly hear the roar when Mick comes on. DV - WANTED Both full. One shot from the back right and one close up front left. VHS - The Night London Burned An edited affair, done very well. Recorded using a professional video unit, its owner wandeered the venue capturing only parts of the gig and the whole of the encores. This footage makes up documentary The Night London Burned.
Much has been written and said about this gig. Notably for the first time in 19 years that Mick Jones and Joe Strummer shared the stage for a mini-Clash reunion. They played the final three songs, the encores together.
Acton Town Hall Firefighters benefit gig - fire engine to left
The FBU has produced a wonderful book from the night which is well worth collecting from this memorable gig titled 'The Night London Burned'.
