Out of Control Tour
The Clash go Back to Basics - European Tour

cdr - good but noise - Sound 3 - 93min - low - 28 tracks

Not a bad sound on this recording but it suffers noise which considering the quality of the other Brixton recordings (this is the weakest) that better copies may exist. Though this is the best known so far. The yellow sleeve below is from an inferior sounding tape which was edited as well but had some Brixton photos on the cover.

It has many of the characteristics of the others, good sound in terms of instrumentation and clarity.

this gig never took place. the band were scheduled to play Espace Ballad on the 23rd Feb. but this had to be re-sheduled to March 1st as a national lorry drivers strike blocked the trucks carrying the gear at Calais. Tickets stubs however stiff carry the 23rd date for a price of 80F which would have been about £6 at the time.
