"Because, if on your lips is the confession, 'Jesus is Lord,' and in your heart the faith that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with the heart that a person exercises faith leading to righteousness, and with the lips that he makes confession issuing in salvation. For the Scripture says, 'No one who puts his trust in him will ever be put to shame.'"
(Romans 10.9-11*)

Welcome! The aim of this website is to provide links to Reformed and Presbyterian churches in North America. I pray that we treat this site as the reformers looked on God's church: "semper reformans, semper reformanda," that is, always reformed, always reforming.

Soli Deo Gloria!

(To God alone be the glory!)

Reformed and Presbyterian Denominations: A Primer: An excellent site with brief descriptions of Reformed and Presbyterian churches.
Reformed Denominations Database: A newer site (and more elegant than mine) that lists some key features of Reformed and Presbyterian churches.

The Cambridge Declaration: Not a creed but an excellent summary of the five "solas" as well as a needed corrective to broad evangelicalism.

Modern Reformation magazine: A bimonthly covering theology, apologetics, and cultural issues. Non-subscribers may receive a free sample issue.
WORLD magazine: A newsweekly. Read this instead of Time or Newsweek.

Ligonier Ministries produces R.C. Sproul's daily radio program Renewing Your Mind, broadcast nationwide and also worldwide on shortwave radio at HCJB (click on "English from Quito"). [The television version, previously on DirecTV's NRB Network, channel 378, is not currently airing; streaming video is available online at Renewing Your Mind].
The White Horse Inn is a weekly, nationwide radio program. It's also available on Sirius satellite radio.

Accordance software: An excellent Bible program for the Mac.
The NeXtBible: This "learning environment" is an excellent example of what's possible online. It's much more than an online Bible; I call it a "super-Study Bible." It's based on The NET Bible (New English Translation), an Internet-based Bible with extensive translator's notes. (It's not my preferred translation; for what it's worth, I prefer the English Standard Version.)

*William Hendriksen, New Testament Commentary: Exposition of Paul's Epistle to the Romans. Baker Book House, Grand Rapids, MI, 1981, page 345-6. (This is an Amazon.com link to the entire set by Hendriksen and Simon Kistemaker. It is the only complete, modern, Reformed New Testament commentary set.)

Some of the churches listed above may not be considered by all to be distinctly Reformed. However, they may be like-minded in several areas of faith & practice, so they are listed here. I do not personally know all of these churches; however, I have tried to examine carefully each website linked above and to consider any feedback I have received.

This list is a resource for serious-minded Christians to find alternative places of worship and fellowship, while traveling, for example. We should remember to pray regularly for these churches, and for all Christians throughout the world who profess the true religion: the catholic, universal church; the kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; the house and family of God. (cf. Westminster Confession of Faith, chapter XXV:1-2)

Thanks to John Farese for his Reformed Baptist Church Directory which inspired this list. Also, thanks to Glenn Ferrell for his original list of denominations; his feedback has been invaluable. His list was derived from a list at The Christian Observer, also an excellent resource for Reformed faith. I have edited Glenn's list, and I am responsible for any errors here. Soli Deo Gloria.
