Richard Jagitsch RIP
My uncle passed away last week after a long
battle with cancer.
He was a loud, opinionated fellow
that people often compared to John Wayne. He was tall, wore cowboy boots and
spoke his mind, something you don't see too often these days. I remember him
riding horses and cussing up a storm as he told funny stories about going to
Mexico and the UK. He was always willing to help out a friend, even if it meant
spending a lot of money to fly them somewhere or pay for expensive meds. He set
the record for the longest flight on one engine in 1960 that still stands today.
He will be missed but the people he effected in his lifetime in his 77 years
will pass him on to others for years to
come.
