• ~Hails from Cincinnati, Ohio, and from birth was bestowed a talent which would bring joy to the faces of music lovers in both hemispheres.
  
  
• ~Currently performing Las Vegas-style shows in the city of Sapporo, which is the largest city in Northern Japan, as well as appearing in live concert stages as the headline act in other cities in Japan. Billy received rave reviews recently from various magazines, newspapers, and other media sources.
  
  
• Billy's April 1st 2005 performance like many others was sold-out;
  a concert at the glamorous Sapporo Grand Hotel, in which tickets were priced at $150.00 each. Since his first show at the Grand Hotel Billy has had the privilege doing a show every year for the past 8 years ,with each show sold out. With his show you never know what your going to get next, each one better than the last; Backtracks and dancers, to a full 23 piece orchestra.

• ...Is a consumate performer, and has a resume that spans numerous countries, as well as the entire Continental United States, but on-the-road musical experience is not the only experience that Billy has acquired. During his performance tenure in California, he studied extensively at the Merrick School of Acting, based in Los Angeles. After completing courses at Merrick, Billy had various options open to him, but he decided to return to his first love: Music!

  • The extent of Billy's live, as well as recording profile, is beyond the limitations of printed words... he must be experienced, to be believed!!
    
    
• Boasting 10 years of honing his craft to perfection on the road:
  • Billy decided to return to Ohio, where he was immediately invited to join one of the top live-house bands in the Midwest January's legendary Celebration (which along with Billy featured current members of Bell, Biv, DeVoe, Stephanie Mills, Christopher Williams, and Paula Abdul's live band. After a two year stint in Celebration, Billy's musical reputation allowed him to return overseas, but this time to Japan, where the music scene was fiercely competitive.
    
    
• After arriving in Japan:
  • Billy immediately took the city's nightlife by storm.
    Within 2 months Billy had whipped his newly acquired backup band into a finely tuned vehicle, that would drive him to the top of the performance scene in Northern Japan. Opening his own club "Billy's, he brought in some of the best talent from the US. Which people still talk about today.

• PERFORMANCE EXPERIENCE:
  
  • Live Concert performance tours with various popular American bands, performing Jazz, R&B, Blues Rock, Funk, Gospel and Classic Ballads, as well as being the first foreigner in Japan to receive a certificate of completion in the ancient singing art-form of Japanese Min-Yo.
    
    
• RECORDING EXPERIENCE:
  
  • Billy has since recorded various songs, as well as a full-length CD entitled "I Wanna Be Your Lover", which includes various U.S. session musicians and songwriters for other popular artists such as George Benson, Janet Jackson, Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke, and others.
    
    
  • Billy King "I Wanna Be Your Lover" on BJ Records, has received airplay on FM North Wave JOPV, in Sapporo, and initial shipments were sold out. Billy's second CD "Baby I'm Crying", on 2Much Drama Records, recorded in Japan, was written and produced by Lonnie L. Bennett Jr. (except for "Stand By Me"), also from Cincinnati Ohio, has been getting a lot of attention in Japan and England.

  • To perform on International tour-circuits including Las Vegas, Nevada's casino and club circuit. Developmental Business Acquisitions, as well as music and performance production for various groups and soloists.
